I’ve been seeing this Supra in my neighborhood for the last couple of years and I wonder what the deal is with whoever owns it.

1988 Turbo with a 5 speed, what’s this pig worth as it sits with a questionable interior?

I haven’t kept up to date on mk3 prices, but even those that are good mechanically don’t fetch a whole lot. The 7m is decent when you address the head gasket issue though. They can be pretty nice cars - just underappreciated.

My guess? 7-12k depending on miles and condition

Edit: apparently they have gone up quote a bit. Doesn't seem worth it for more than 12k imo though

Not quite as much as an MR2 Turbo... but a nice one might be into the 5 figures, bad interior and problems may still be mid-4-figures.

This is one of my go-to cars for the 198os, despite being a dense car (heavy for it’s physical dimensions)
